The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a form that students in the United States can fill out to apply for financial aid for college or career school. The aid can come in the form of grants, loans, or work-study opportunities. The FAFSA is used to determine a student’s eligibility for federal aid, as well as for aid from the state, school, or other organizations.
